The Fourths won again this Saturday. Do the maths. This season:

1^st XI   2 – 2   2^nd XI

2^nd XI  2 – 2  3^rd XI

3^rd XI  1 – 4  4^th XI

Bobbins is a fine fixture secretary but he has missed the game that matters: 1sts v 4ths.

The self-styled Galacticos (played 14, won 7, drawn 1, lost 6) have a much poorer record than the Mighty Fourths (played 13, won 7, drawn 3, lost 3). They fancy themselves much more (see tour photos, appalling amount of hair product in evidence).

The Fourths are ready. But the 1^st XI have too much to lose. They are running scared. The fixture will never be played.

Or will it ? Only they can make it happen.
