His Honour Herbert (Bert) Henry Andrew

It is with deep regret that Liverpool Ramblers must announce the death of His Honour Herbert (Bert) Henry Andrew who passed away on Christmas day. He had not been well for some time.

A Prestonian, he was more than a useful footballer and (save for his life long lack of appreciation of time) a true Rambler playing in the fifties and the sixties.

Those that knew him well and those who played with him were always richly entertained in his company.

He was a lovely man.
