Buckley Wickham

Liverpool Ramblers are sad to announce the death of Buckley Wickham, a very popular member of the club.

Sean Duncan remembers him thus: “Buckley was a great Rambler and marvellous company. A vital and popular member when the Club was at its best.”

Dick Harper said: “How sad. Another one of my era gone. Buckley would never have been in  a list of outstanding players but what a good lad. He had a wonderful sense of humour and was a stalwart of the club and until poor health stopped him he was a regular at club functions. An ardent LFC supporter, he always used to remind me (quite wrongly) that I was partly responsible for Liverpool buying Ian Rush from Chester. Our sympathies must go out to Penny.”

The funeral is at noon on the 18th January 2016 at St Michael’s Church, Church Lane, Aughton, Ormskirk L39 6SB.
