Nick Clay

It is with great sadness that Liverpool Ramblers AFC learnt of the untimely death of Nick Clay on the 29th December 2011. Our sincere condolensces go to his brother Chris and all of Nick’s other family and friends. Details of the funeral arrangements and the subsequent memorial service have now been provided by Chris-

The immediate family are gathering at the crematorium on the morning of Friday 13th January.

This will be followed by a memorial service at St Peter’s Church in Formby at 12pm where it would be lovely to see all of Nick’s friends.

As a celebration of Nick’s life we thought it would be nice for as many people as possible to wear their favourite football scarves to the church which has been approved by Father Paul.

From there we invite you all to Formby Golf Club for refreshments.

A Ramblers Legend appears to have emerged unscathed after luring Colonel Gaddafi into the hands of the Libyan National Transitional Council with the offer of free champagne.
