Fantasy Football

The 2012 / 13 season Ramblers Fantasy Football raised about £250 for the club.

Now we need you and your mates / family / etc to sign up for the new season that starts in 10 days.

Entry is £20 cash - this must be put in an envelope with your name on it and delivered to me (Jerry Hopkins) directly (preferably on President’s Day) or via your team captain or via your connection with the club.  It is strictly one NAMED envelop per person and all payments need to get to me by 30th September 2013.

Please register now at http://fantasy.premierleague.com (you can login using last year’s e-mail and password or set up a new one), set up your team and then join the Liverpool Ramblers league (code to join this league: 356577-92160).

There are a few changes for the 2013 / 14 season:

1st prize - £200
2nd prize - £100
3rd prize - £75

assuming we get at least 50 entries (otherwise they will be 35%, 15% and 10% of the net pot after the manager of the month awards are accounted for).

Manager of the month - receives free entry for the next season’s competition (awarded for 1st place at 30th September 2013 and then highest point scorers in October, November, December, January, February, March and April).  

Once again, please encourage team mates, current and future Ramblers and close friends who would enjoy taking part to join this competition.

Tony Kingsford RIP

It is with deep regret that Liverpool Ramblers AFC must announce the passing of Tony Kingsford.

Tony died peacefully at home on Monday, aged 92. He was a great supporter of the Ramblers; Tony and his wife Kathleen- known to all as Bun- have made many friends through their association with the club.

Tony’s Funeral will be held at Southport Crematorium at 11.20 on Monday 10^th June.
